As the Hung Kings’ death anniversary approaches, Ms. Minh Phuong in Ho Chi Minh City and her friends have just started looking for a camping spot near the city to relax and immerse themselves in nature. Because she has no experience setting up tents and preparing supplies, she chose a destination that has everything ready. However, many all-inclusive camping spots in Tay Ninh and Dong Nai have stopped accepting guests for the three days from April 9 to 11 for a long time.
Tropical EGlamping, a popular camping spot in Dinh Quan district, Dong Nai, has 17 tents full from April 7 to 10, each tent accommodating 2 to 4 guests. Not to mention, even though it is only the beginning of April, this place has already stopped accepting guests for April 30 and May 1.
“The price to rent a tent during the week is from 1.1 to 1.4 million VND per guest, including BBQ dinner and breakfast. On weekends, some tents in the area cost 2 million VND per guest but are still fully booked. Holidays will be calculated according to the camp’s weekend price package plus 100,000 VND. Some guests booked tents a month and a half in advance to get a spot for the holidays,” said a representative of Tropical EGlamping.
Tourists shared that the reason why this luxurious camping form, near Ho Chi Minh City, is so attractive is because it is located on a hilltop with a large cashew forest, cool during the day, and has a panoramic view of Tri An Lake. The items equipped in the tents are “as comfortable as a resort”, with air conditioning in each tent and the resort also serves hot water for guests.
In Tay Ninh, the camping schedule booked by guests at Ma Lu Quan – Camping Nui Ba Den on April 9-10 was “finalized” a month in advance. The unit said that guests booked very early. Each night, the campsite can accommodate up to 35 guests, and during the day, it can accommodate 100 guests for meals, coffee, and sightseeing.
“There are only a few tents left for April 11, priced at VND699,000/guest, including 2 meals and a full-service tent stay. The price does not increase on holidays compared to normal days,” said a representative of the unit.
In addition to Ba Den Mountain in Tay Ninh or Tri An Lake in Dong Nai, Da Lat is also a popular camping destination for tourists, especially in the suburbs of Tuyen Lam Lake. Camping spots with full-service packages in this area have almost all booked for the 3-day Hung King holiday this year. In addition, some other famous luxury camping spots such as Lak Tented Camp (Dak Lak), CampArt by #MoJen (Lam Dong) … are fully booked on April 9-10, with very few or no seats left for April 11.
Unlike the difficult scene of finding a camping tent, camping spots along Tri An Lake, Chua Chan Mountain (Dong Nai), Dau Tieng Lake (Binh Duong) for self-sufficient guests are still quite comfortable. Guests can rent tents, stoves, prepare food to bring from home to the campsite to save costs. Some places have entrance tickets from 100,000 VND, the destination has clean water, showers, toilets.
