Camping spots for tourists who love peace, free and can go right away during the April 30 holiday.
To avoid the crowds and noise at famous tourist destinations during the holiday, some tourists choose to camp in deserted places to relax and enjoy their vacation. Mr. Nguyen Anh Khoi (45 years old, Hanoi), who loves and often goes camping for more than three years, suggests some locations near Hanoi.
About 50 km from the center of Hanoi, Vien Nam peak in Quang Tien commune, Tan Yen district, Hoa Binh is located at an altitude of more than 1,000 m above sea level, with a panoramic view of Hoa Binh city and the distant mountains.
It is cooler here than in the city, chilly in the evening. Besides the experience of watching the sunset and sunrise, if lucky, visitors can see the sea of clouds. The area is completely wild so there are no camping services yet. Visitors should proactively prepare all necessary items before the trip.
The distance from the foot of the mountain to the top is about 10 km. The road is narrow, steep with many boulders, and dense trees due to few people passing by. Suitable means of transport are motorbikes and high-chassis cars, the driver must be steady.
There are also many places to set up camp along the Red River. Mr. Khoi suggests a location in Van Nam commune, Phuc Tho district, about 40 km from the center of Hanoi.
Here there is a large, flat lawn for camping, watching the sunset and sunrise on the Red River. The scene of herds of buffalo and cows leisurely grazing brings the feeling of a peaceful village. In addition, visitors can fish, bathe in the river, and make a campfire.
The road to get there is quite easy to go. As it is a completely natural area, there are no services here. There is no shade from trees, in the afternoon there can be strong winds, many mosquitoes and insects.
More than 20 km from the center of Hanoi, on the Red River in Hong Ha commune, Dan Phuong district, there is a place called Carp Island. The land is wide, the grass is low, clean, the air is cool, suitable for outdoor activities such as kite flying, soccer, and off-road driving. Mr. Khoi suggests that visitors should camp on the alluvial side, the sand is gentle and far from the path of ships, not disturbed by noise.
This area has been widely shared on social networks, attracting many tourists to camp. After a while, this place has returned to its original wild and quiet appearance.
Easy to go, suitable for both motorbikes and cars. Visitors can buy necessary items at the market outside the dike. There are some camping service establishments for visitors to contact if needed.
